As with many independents, a simple typeface had sufficed as their logo for many years, but with an ever evolving approach to jewellery, the time was right to rebrand and relaunch their website.
Taking cues from classic serif typefaces, a modern twist brings the brand up to date – small touches like the nested characters in the word mark reflect the detail and care effected in their customer. The stylised icon lends itself to subtle branded collateral – simple but bold enough to be used as a tessellated pattern.
The feedback we’ve had from customers has been tremendous, and we love our new look. DeType made the entire process – which took us out of our comfort zone and into the 21st century – painless. It was a huge step for us to take, but entirely a leap of faith which has really paid off.
