Following a period of strategic reflection, the charity evolved into Give Northants — a clearer, more confident identity designed to champion local giving and strengthen community impact across Northamptonshire. This wasn’t just cosmetic; it was foundational.

The challenge:

Northants Community Aid had built meaningful momentum, connecting local businesses with grassroots charities and funding small, practical projects that genuinely changed lives.

But the existing name and positioning didn’t fully communicate: the directness of their impact, and their ambition to grow a stronger network of local business supporters.

They needed a brand that felt active, accessible, and rooted in place. Something that really invited participation.

The solution:

Working closely with all the trustees to refine the charity’s positioning and purpose, we ended up with the name: Give Northants. A name that’s clear, action-led and geographically grounded. It puts generosity at the forefront and makes the mission instantly understandable.

Alongside the new name, we supported the rollout with refreshed messaging. The tone became more confident and forward-looking, signalling a new chapter focused on growth and collaboration.

The results:

Give Northants now stands as a stronger, more distinctive presence within the local business and charity community. The refreshed brand provides a clearer platform to expand their network and amplify their impact across the county, as well as boost our trustees and supporters.
