Big 50 Vision

We were invited to tender for an ambitious new initiative by North Northamptonshire Council: The Big 50 Vision – a long-term strategy aimed at shaping the future of the region through collaboration, sustainability, and community-driven change.

Web design, Web development

The challenge:

The website needed to clearly articulate the vision and its key pledges, while remaining flexible enough to grow and evolve as the initiative developed. With a wide range of stakeholders involved – from council teams to local residents and businesses – the platform also had to strike the right balance between clarity, accessibility, and ambition.

The solution:

We designed and developed a bespoke WordPress website that delivers both impact and ease of use. The CMS was configured specifically for non-technical users, allowing council staff to easily manage and update content – including pledges, news articles, case studies, and events – without the need for developer input.

Visually, the site takes a bold but clean approach, designed to present a large volume of information in a digestible way, with clear navigation and content hierarchy. We worked closely with key stakeholders throughout the process to ensure the messaging, tone, and accessibility met the needs of a highly diverse audience – from councillors and community groups to the general public.

The results:

The site launched to positive feedback from both internal stakeholders and the wider public, providing a central hub for the Big 50 Vision and its ongoing rollout. It’s now a living platform – not just a static campaign site – with council teams actively updating and promoting progress as pledges turn into tangible action.
